TThis April, After 12 years on the professional tour, 33 year old golfer Phil Mickelson won his first major championship and it couldn’t been any better as he won The 2004 Masters winning $1,170,000 by going 72-69-69-69-279 (-9). This gets the monkey off his back from the media, and most importantly his self as being unable to win the big one.

Mickelson for the year is number two on the money list on the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) with 3.9 million dollars earned already. This 6-2 190 lbs. American lefty has been in 10 events this year and finished in the top 10 nine times. None will be bigger than the victory at Augusta.
