While Jameer Nelson gets most of the credit for the St. Joseph’s Hawks undefeated season at 27-0 entering the Atlantic-10 Tourney, but for the Hawks to have made it this far Nelson needed a great partner on the court and Delonte West is that man!

West is a 6-4 junior that has helped Nelson form many believe the nation’s best backcourt by averaging 19 points, 1.7 steals, 4.9 steals and 5.6 rebounds for the season. In the month of February the team has played seven games including facing Big Five rivals Temple, Villanova, and LaSalle as well as A-10 rivals Dayton and UMass and West has been great in everyone including a season high 11 rebounds at Villanova (2/2).

West will continue his success and still play with the team in order for the Hawks to have the NCAA tourney and March Madness to remember.
