GeoSports Player of The Month is centerfielder
Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers. Hamilton
is a serious contender for the triple crown
of league leads in home r
uns,
runs batted in and batting average even though
it's only through the month of May. For the
month hit .322 with 29 RBIs, eight walks and
eight homeruns. He had a slugging percentage
of .677 and a on base percentage of .360.
The
6-4 left-handed bat and thrower was a 1999 first
overall pick of the Tampa Bay Rays and has finally
come to show his potential even if it's in another
uniform. This is Hamilton's third team after
being with the Cincinnati Reds between Tampa
Bay and Texas.
