This month's player is none other than recently named NBA 2004-05 Most Valuable Player: Steve Nash.   While its easy to give him the award based on his regular season effort in which he lead the Phoenix Suns to the Western Conference and NBA's best record of 62-20. This can also award can also be had, rightfully so, with his record in the month of April which saw Steve lead Phoenix to a four game sweep of the young upstart Memphis Grizzles in the first round of the playoffs and the his current work against Dallas in their best of seven series.   For the playoffs (8 games as of 5/17/05) Nash is averaging 21 points almost 4 rebounds (3.9) and 11.6 assists while shooting at a 51 percent clip.

We don't know what will happen for the rest of the playoffs but in a NBA MVP season winning the GeoSports Player Of The Month is very well deserved at least once! Nash has brought back a championship feeling to Phoenix and is clearly a star for all to cherish and enjoy!
