| The
Los Angeles Lakers notably struggled in the
month of March (5-9 record) but it wasn't because
of Kobe Bryant's effort! Bryant was on fire
in March trying to pick his effort up for a
team that has battled injury issues all season
including the losses of Lamar Odom, Luke Walton
and Sasha Radmanovic for extended periods of
time.
Bryant
averaged 40.4 points on 45.9 percent shooting
with 6.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists. He dropped
50 points in 4 straight games (all wins) and
led his team to a month high five straight wins
too (the only wins of the month)! Only
fellow Philadelphia product Wilt Chamberlain
dropped more back to back 50 point games.
The
6-6 two guard born in Philly and raised between
Italy and Lower Marion, PA is cementing his
status as the games best player. The Lakers
will always have a chance if Kobe suits up that
night.
