This month's Player of the Month is Magglio Ordonez of the Detroit Tigers. Ordonez has brought a confidence to the Tigers since he arrived from Chicago a few years ago and it's because he does whatever it takes to win. This means hitting key homers or just keeping the
batting order moving for other players to bring him home.

For the month of June, Ordonez hit .421 with 40 hits, 19 RBIs and 15 BBs. The Tigers went 16-10 this past month and lead the AL Central.
