month we salute a Los Angeles Clipper (no not
a Laker) as power forward Elton Brand is our
November player of the month. Brand is an early
MVP candidate and has helped the Clippers stay
around first place (yes this isn't a misprint)
during the first part of the season.
Now
the 6-8, 254 lb. Brand was never a slouch but
this season he has become more explosive going
towards the basket while also adding a jumper
from 15 feet out! This has Brand going
back and forth with players like Tim Duncan,
Kevin Garnett and Yao Ming!
For
the month of November Brand put up statistics
of 23.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.7 blocks, 2.3
assists a game and the team 10-5 in the month.
For
the season Brand is averaging 25.7 points, 10.6
rebounds and 2.7 blocks.
