Cam Ward of the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes is our GeoSports Player of The Month for May 2006.

Ward, a 6 foot, 1 inch tall, 200 lb. rookie  was 10-4 in May and overall 14-4 in the NHL Playoffs with a 2.05 Goals Against Average and a .933 Save Percentage. His stellar play has led the Hurricanes to the doorsteps of the Stanley Cup Trophy!
