While football is coming to a close we at GeoClan.com still chose to show the roundball some love and make Dwyane Wade our GeoSports Player Of The Month for the month of December.

Wade, a 6-4, 212 pound second year guard from Marquette has continued to show why he is one of the leaders of the NBA's future as he pairs with legendary center Shaquille O'Neal to for a deadly duo that is running the Eastern Conference this season.

For the month of December the Heat went 14-1 and Wades execution at the point while still finding time to score is a huge reason,   Wade averaged 23 points, 1.5 steals, 5.9 rebounds, 7.7 assists a game this past December while shooting at a 48 percent clip.    On Christmas Day it was Wade not O'Neal who won the game for the Heat versus the now rival Los Angeles Lakers when he scored four of his 29 points in overtime defeating the Lakers 104-102 in Los Angeles. He also contributed 10 assists in that game. Please   don't expect Wade to stop because he's only 22 years old full of talent and moxie and has only just begun!
