This month's player of the month led his team to the playoffs in the truest sense of being a leader: Allen Iverson.   This month Iverson put his 4 th scoring title to rest but also made his teammates better and led his team to an 8-3 record in the last 11 games of the regular season.   Iverson had averages of 41 minutes. 32.8 points, 9.1 assists, 4.2 rebounds 2.7 steals and shot an outstanding 47 percent from the field.  

This effort led the Sixers to the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference and a matchup with the defending NBA World Champion Detroit Pistons. The Sixers finished the season with a 43-39 record.
