The
city of Philadelphia is an excellent sports
town and is known for their great media
professionals ranging from Harry Kalas
to Ray Didinger. However there are some
media "talents" in this city
that just have to go and here is a quick
top 10 list:
10. John Marzano, (Phillies Post Game
Live Analyst):
Yo Johnny Marsh, we do no want to hear
about your playing days anymore and expertise
as a career backup catcher.
9. Chris Wheeler, (Phillies Broadcaster):
Wheels continues to be the third wheel
as he always was with Harry and Whitey.
8. Angelo Cataldi (610 WIP Radio Host):
He was right about the hoagies, but I'm
tired of hearing about movies, pasta and
his house down the shore. Just talk sports
baby!
7. Dave Brown (2002 Eagles Post Game
Live Analyst): Oh ya, Comcast already
did give him the boot, thank goodness.
There was no need for a bad ex-Giant quarterback
to tell us about Eagles football.
6. Derrick Gunn (Comcast Sports Net):
Please just give us the reports of the
game and stop calling all the players,
"dog." Anyway shouldn't you
be in Jacksonville with your boy, Hugh?
5. Dei Lynam (Comcast Sports Net): Just
kidding. She does an incredible job and
she is the daughter of Jimmy Lynam.
4. Don Tollefson (Fox 29 Sports Anchor):
Please stop nodding your head and Tollie
you are not awesome baby.
3. John Clarke (NBC 10 Sports Anchor):
He is painful to watch and please stop
trying to imitate Howard Eskin. You are
horrible!
2. Michael Barkann (Comcast Sports Net):
He is the most overrated person on TV
in Philadelphia. Michael you are not funny
and stop trying to hit on Heather Mitts.
1. Dave Spadaro (Eagle.com and Eagles
Digest): We know the Eagles sign his paychecks,
but he might as well carry around Eagles
pom poms. Whatever happened to professional
journalism?
