A Jorney Through Palestine
By Nijime

2 settlers

This picture shows ideological Israeli settlers who believe that God gave the land of Palestine to the Jewish people, and they have the right to settle it using violence if necessary. UN resolution forbids a population from settling its only people in territories conquered during wartime.

Apartheid wall ‘map’
Israel is currently building a ‘security fence’ to separate Israel and Palestine. When I attempted to document this fence I was always met with hired armed thugs (not army, police, or settlers, but essentially just men with guns) who were ready to break my face. The reason why it is so difficult to document is because Israel doesn’t want the West to see the destruction that is created from the making of the fence. Once you level an entire area, villages, shops, schools, olive and citrus groves, it is much easier to say there was never anything there in the first place. This map shows clearly that the wall does not follow the commonly recognized ‘borders’ as established in 1948, but extends deep into Palestinian territory. Why? Because the areas currently being taken over are the most fertile areas in the region that support much of the Palestinian agricultural economy. Oh yeah, and there’s lots of underground aquifers too.

Barbwire and little boy

It is a myth that the Israeli army doesn’t kill children. In fact, Israeli soldiers use Palestinian children for target practice. Soldiers will roll tanks into a town or village, instigate young boys by broadcasting curses and insulting people’s mothers, and when the boys throw stones, they get shot dead.
