GeoReview: Havoc, The Kush

By Clayton Ruley

Havoc gives you The Kush, a first-time solo effort from one half of Mobb Deep. Havoc gives you the beats you missed since the Mobb went to G-Unit a few years ago. Havoc also brings the lyrics you've not heard when Prodigy has been getting all the props.

While Havoc isn't P on the flow side he does hold his own on this effort. 12 tracks featuring guest appearances by Un Pachino, Prodgy, 40 Glocc, Nitti and NYCE is enough to let you know that money hasn't made Havoc less grimy.

Tracks like "Hit Me Up", "Balling Out", "On My Side" and "Be There" give you a different sound but the topics are the same you've come to expect from this Queensbridge, NY product.

Overall a solid effort from the H-A-V-OC, The Kush, will have you ready for another Mobb Deep project. I'll give it three GeoGlobes.
