Guilty Simpson gained a reputation as a collaborator on the late legendary J Dilla's projects. The Detroit MC comes into his own in Stray Bullets a 25-track hitter featuring production from Dilla, Mr. Porter, Jake One, Silent Riot, Blitz, Eric Lau and Cysion. Guest appearances include Bizarre (from D12), Jay Electronica, Almighty Dreadnaughtz and Marv Won.

Simpson brings Detroit when he rhymes and lets people know that they are still represented well. Talking about life in the D, women, the streets and more, Simpson has a nice flow and gets props in interludes from Bishop Lamont, Planet Asia, Slum Village among others.

Tracks you need to listen to include "Beast", "Supreme Beings", "La La", "Roll Call" and "Lemon Squeeze", "Professionals" "Get", and "Man's World". For those who didn't hear some of his early work be sure check out the "DJ Rhettmatic Megamix"" and you'll hear some fire! I'm sure this won't be the last we hear from Guilty but if so I definitely shows us why Dilla had so much confidence in this effort.
