GeoReview: Young Jeezy, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101
By Constant

Young Jeezy is the hottest thing coming from the South of the United States.   The ATL MC is one of Bad Boy's Boyz In Da Hood that recently released their debut album in the early summer months of 2005 and now Jeezy, who bare a striking resemblance to The Lox's Jadakiss, is releasing his own solo debut on Def Jam.   Lets Get It: Thug Motivation 101 is a look into one man's journey through the traps of the streets.   Filled with plenty of memorable lines and sounds you'll be shouting in your home for no damn reason, this album.   Jeezy's voice is raspy and his flow is husky. These combinations with the dark murky beats make this a definite ride out album you can bang heavy whether on the road or trying to get your workout on!

Some tracks worth mentioned are the "Go Crazy", the horn blazing track talking about why people want to wil' out on something, "Soul Survivor" featuring the singing Akon, "Bang", featuring T.I. and Lil' Scrappy, "Trap Star", the triumphant sounding cut, And Then What" produced and featuring Mannie Fresh and "Gangsta Music".

While Jeezy isn't a lyrical per se he does bring charisma and a tough guy persona to the rap game better but similar to a Jim Jones of the DipSet. He will be in the game for a while because of his versatility and his look!   The Snowman (as he calls himself) is did his thing in the summer and didn't even melt! Imagine that!

Let's Get It gets 4 Globes!
