GeoReview: Vivian Green, Vivian
By Clayton Ruley

Vivian is a rising star in music.   She maybe too lady like to catch the big time money but he writing skills, singing and look are top notch and she brings the people a new album called Vivian . Vivian is more up-tempo than he first album, A Love Story and less somber sounding! While the first album was very nice it couldn't be played at any given time and that's limiting.

This album is filled with lyrics and choruses about empowerment from a woman's perspective and that is needed because we have a lot of women playing the love game on a man's perspective and it's getting stale (I don't believe I said that!) The chase is cool but once they are capture (for lack of a better word) we need to treat the women with respect, boost them when they are down and be supportive!.

Song that keep you feet moving including "Wish We Could Go Back", "Mad", "Sweet Thing" and "I Like It (But I Don't Need It)".   Some of the serious tracks include the first single "Gotta Go Gotta Leave" "Frustrated" and "Damn".   This album is 14 tracks and features production from Scott Storch, James Poyser, Junius Bervine, Clay Sears and Anthony Bell, Steve Green, Steve McKie, Adam Blackstone and Che Vicious.

Vivian, the artist and the album, is a throwback and it's nice to hear someone who still writes about love and love lost!

I'll give the album 4 Globes.   Filled with different sounds and thoughtful lyrics this album is different in a very good way!
