The
Roze Parade is the first album from Reazon,
a MC out born in Philadelphia and
raised in California. This 16 track LP
is brought to the people from the people
at Westland Music Group and features production
from Victor Barz, DJ CRS?, G. Black, Rock,
Minor Major, Jedi, Soloist and Dre1.
Here
are the joints I'm feeling on this album:
"Beginning
To End" is the first full track and
Reazon gets loose on a beat that sounds
like something you'd hear on the Sci-Fi
channel. He say sometihng to the point
that rappers talk hate and people will
applaud you, but if you talk about love
people will turn you off! Real recognize
real!
Reazon
shows he ability to take you to another
plain in "Victims of Ourselves",
a song that talks about how we can be
our worst enemy.
"Pulling
Me Back" features Kenya doing the
singing and Reazon gets busy on a flashy
track talking about not being walking
down the wrong roads and staying on the
grind for what you want.
Reazon
uses one word through this particular
song called "Still". Reazon
talking about what he still doing and
how that goes into who he is.
For
those who think Reazon is just one of
those knowledge guys don't be fooled...he's
a human and he shows it on "Yippee".
This track is very fast paced and Reazon
talks about the ladies: pursuing them
and the aftermath. Reazon uses the fast
flow on this one and it sounds natural.
"Say
Hush" is for the ladies explaining
the lifelong triumphs and struggles between
men and women on a dreamy beat.
"Go
Reazon" is a cute track becasue Reazon
get some children to sing the hook as
he pops off at the mouth about him and
his style on a beat with a electronic
sound.
On
a song than I would consider a look into
the mind of Reazon, "Pen & Pad"
is a smooth instrumental track with Reazon
killing it with wisdom and introspect.
With
a track meant for a dark room and light
flashing, "Roze Parade" features
Reazon talking about love and it taking
the soul.
Reazon
tears the roof off the island sounding
"In God We Trust" talking
about life and how we, as people, deal
with and justify decisions and actions.
Other
songs include "For Now On",
"Thin Line" (My personal favorite
because of it's trueful commentary of
the love/hate relationship and the evils
that can pull you down.), "Life Is
A Bitch", and "Reazon".
An
impressive debut from Reazon that showed
me a complete and focused artist, The
Roze Parade is one of those albums people
will want to cop ten years from now to
say: "damn he was even thorough back
then"! The sound is high quality
and the lyrics show a MC that is wise
beyond his years on this earth. He should
be on the rise to the public eye sooner
rather than later.
I'll
give the album 4 GeoGlobes.
