Nicolay does his thing as one half of the international group The Foreign Exchange.   Before that he was still an artist and producer blazing some non-traditional beats for his peeps.   Now with the blow of the album of the Connected LP, Nicolay returns to the hardwood with various artists on his beat on The Dutch Masters, Vol. 1.  

This album of course features The Foreign Exchange and Little Brother along with groups like Living Legends out of Los Angeles, Gridlock Fam, Science Fiction and solo artists like Von Pea, Thyrday, Mr. Shhhhh and SouL.   Nicolay blesses them with some eclectic beats and blends and this collabo makes a very nice work! You also get Common's "Come Close (Remix)" featuring Mary J. Blige on another hot beat and Philadelphia's own Jaguar Wright and Bilal on   "I Can't Wait (Remix)"

Songs you should get a listen to include "The Blessing", "So Far", "Metropolis", and "The Williams".   The Mixtape is 17 tracks with no interludes and it takes you on a nice smooth ride.
