GeoReview: Murs & 9th Wonder, Murray's Revenge
By Clayton Ruley

California's Murs & North Carolina's 9th Wonder return to bring the people Murray's Revenge, the sequel to acclaimed The 9th Edition. This album is hot and features guest appearances from The Justus League's
Big Pooh and Joe Scudda. Murs talks about being a rapper and not a thug. Possessing the ability to sound however the song needs to him to sound Murs proves once again that him and 9th are a wonderful connection!

The Record Collection release features 10 tracks and is a little over an half an hour but it's enjoyable nontheless. Peep the tracks "Silly Girl", a track about women who wait too long to tell the men their intentions and by then it's too late, "D.S.W.G. (Dark SkinnedWhite Girls)", a track about those in between girls who get love from many but the love is as mixed as their possible racial identity or tastes are, "Barbershop", a track that talks about having game as fresh as a new haircut from the shop and "Dreamchaser", a cut that takes you back to growing up and the different avenues there are to take, some good and a lot of them bad.

9th does a great job with the beats and
there is a 70's feel to the beats and in today's Hip Hop that is rare and needed.

Overall the album is very good, I like the beats and the verses are nice and have topics that most can relate too! Murs does a good job of giving you a peep at his past but letting you know that he's moving on and only gaining more ground. Hopefully him and 9th can keep these projects going even when time gets more hectic.

I'll give the LP 4 GeoGlobes.
