Touch
The Sky is the Clinton Sparks and
Kanye West mixtape and it is nice. Featuring
many of rap's best this ablum is one of
the best I've heard in a while. It starts
with the freestyle featuring Kanye, Bump
J. and Sly Polaroid of ChiTown. and it
continues with songs like "Take
Everything" featuring D-Block and
Jae Hood on a Cheers sample,
Pharrell & N.O.R.E.'s "Yeah N---a",
"Look Who" with Busta and Dr.
Dre is vintage Dre with a new assassin
on his side and "Twin Towers"
with Nas and Jay-Z together for the first
time! The majority of the tracks are produced
by Sparks and this is more like a compilation
album.
Check out the Alicia Keys Unbreakable
game show and freestyles by Remy Ma, Q-Tip,
Peedi and Young Chris, Papoose and Edison
Chen, a young MC from Japan. There is
a lot of heat on this project and this
is a good listen. Along with the aforementioned
artists there are people's favorites like
Lil' Kim, Freeway, Mike Jones, Slim Thug,
Kardinal Offishall, Ludacris, Shawnna
and more! The CD is 34 tracks and goes
the whole 78 minutes a CD can handle.
I'll give Touch The Sky 4 Globes
