The
BDI Thug is back! But this time around
he has teamed up with 9th Wonder of Little
Brother and The JUSTUS league to create
Chemistry. The album was associated with
Duck Down, Ecko, and Boot Camp.
"Chemistry
101" - From the gate Buckshot does what
he does spitting tough lyrics over a hot
beat. Staying true to his style
he delivers and opens up the curtains.
"He's
Back" - This will keep your head nodding.
Buckshot exclaims in so many words
that the BDI Thug is back.
"Now
A Days" – Now a days everybody's
shooting, but who's boxing, or can they
box? Buckshot begs the Question
of why we'd rather use clips than knuckle
up.
"Side
Walk" - Wherever you go in the hood you
can hear side talk. At the bus
stop, barbershop, bar, church, and even
on the radio. Buckshot advises
these cats to side step with the side
talk.
"The
Ghetto" - How do you make you bread
in the ghetto? If you know like
I know whether it's legal or illegal people
grind gears in what ever they do.
Buckshot lyrically breaks down his environment
from top to bottom.
"Food
for Thought" - 9 th scratches in lines
by Talib Kweli, Guru, and Jay-Z on this
thorough DJ Premier inspired beat.
As if it's not already known, Buckshot
is still giving food for thought to EMCEES.
"No
Comparison" - Who can be compared to Buckshot?
______________Exclaiming lyrically
that competition is none Buckshot keeps
it moving with a smooth delivery and a
sharp hook.
"BIRDZ"-
This was definitely one of the best tracks
on the album. Buckshot sets the
stage, then Phonte, burns the curtains
lyrically. Reflecting on former "BIRDZ"
they let heads know what the status quo
is when it comes to handling situations.
"U-Wonderin"
featuring Rapper Big Pooh and Sean Price
- Everybody should be wondering why Buckshot
Big Pooh and Sean Price murdered this
beat in the first, second, and third degree.
"With rap you can say such amazing
tales."
"Out
of Town" featuring L.E.G.A.C.Y. and Joe
Scudda - While fronting OT there's a possibility
that you'll get tested. The track
will remind you of a cut from The Infamous
and Hell on Earth. The trio hold
it down telling about out of town trips
that turn drastic when a series of events
unfold.
"Don't
Know Why" featuring Keisha Shontelle -
Buckshot spits fiercely over this track,
which Keisha Shontelle provides a nice
hook on. Buckshot questions the
social, political, and economic status
quo. Reflecting on life's daily
contradictions Buckshot explains why.
"Money
Makes the World go Round" featuring Starang
Wondah - It takes money to do anything
in this world and Buckshot is conscious
of that. If you want a big house,
a personal computer, or to simply eat
a full course meal you need money.
The
Album gets 3 Globes.
