 Quote of the Month

It becomes more necessary to see the truth as it is if you realise that the only vehicle for change are these people who have lost their personality. The first step therefore is to make the black man come to himself; to pump back life into his empty shell; to infuse him with pride and dignity, to remind him of his complicity in the crime of allowing himself to be misused and therefore letting evil reign supreme in the country of his birth."

Our bodies connect

Your soul intertwines mine

I would live to breath your air

Because I want you to be mine

Time passes by

And we grow closer still

The closer we get, the warmer the heat

So I decide that we should just chill

We chill for a while but not for long

Because you own the lease on my heart

One night of passion, you push inside

And our life together now starts

Your spirit flows inside me

And impregnates my spirit within

I shall have to explain to my mother

But I don't know where to begin

As our seed grows larger inside me

You stay with me faithfully

But soon I get fat and bloated

Then with me you don't want to be seen

I should have aborted this child

If I would've known your run wasn't long term

I can't be a killer, but I would sure kill your ass

For filling me up with your sperm

Days, weeks, and months go by

And my baby within me still grows

I go to the doctor and look on the screen

I can now see fingers and toes

I can also see something else

That points out the presence of a girl

A precious daughter yearning to know you

What a shame that you're not in her world

My water breaks and I call my mom

So to the hospital I can get a ride

As soon as I get there the pain knocks me out

And I awake to see you at my side

The love of my life, my first and only

One with whom I ever shared my love

The labor is painful and oh so long

So a bright light shines down from above

I see the face of my savior

Coming to take me away

But I fight the light and keep on pushing

Because with my daughter I will stay

  The doctors bring me back

I fought too hard; it can't take me until the time comes

In and out of consciousness I constantly fall

My head pounds to the beat of a drum

The drum I hear is the intense beating of my

Daughters heart against mine……
