We believe in expression with a point and want our poets to fully express themselves so it's with good reason that the N word and other words are used and the poem is used to tell a important story and point of view! The word Nigger means ignorant for those who don't know and in the past has been used in a negative connotation to describe a person of African descent. This was especially true in the United States of America. Recently some peoples of African descent (especially) have felt empowered to use the word as a term of affection (Nigga) which has left many people of African descent (especially) upset. For those under 18 years old please consult a parent or an adult before you read this.

From a nigga to a god, rays of light illuminate his crown

Ruler of all he surveys but can't get his dreams off the ground

Conditioned to despise the things that are righteous and pure.

He is like a giant evergreen that is damaged at the roots.

Nigga! Love yourself just as much as you do those fresh boots!

Nigga! Take pride in your woman, she is the reflection of your face!

She is the vessel that insures the survival of your race!

Nigga! Fill your mind with knowledge until your eyes bleed!

Because many years ago we were killed just for learning to read!

Nigga! Become producers instead of customers!

Cause we been in theses streets too long to turn around and let these corporations hustle us!

Niggas! Protect your daughters and teach your sons!

Teach them that niggas wit books, live longer than niggas with guns!

Teach them that love is not cum and pussy or dicks and breast but is actions that are spawned from affection!

And it is not the throb of early morning erections!

Brown, yellow, pink tan, and mulatto nigga, these words apply to us all!

Elevate yourself from nigga 2 god, who will heed the call?
