Academy
Award Winner Michael Moore is the champion
of the disenfranchised and after critically
acclaimed films like Roger and Me
and Bowling For Columbine came
out with Fahrenheit 9/11 in 2004.
The movie won the award for Best Picture
at the Cannes Film Festival in France
and is now on DVD with some extra goodies.
Included
in the DVD package is a featurette on
"The Release of Fahrenheit 9/11",
a Montage: "The People of Iraq on
the Eve of Invasion", new scenes,
Eyewitness accounts from a swedish journalist
Urban Hamad, Lila Lipscomb at the Washington
D.C. premiere of 9/11, an extended interview
with Abdul Henderson, a feature on Arab-American
comedians, Condeleezza Rice's 9/11 Commission
Testimony, and the Rose Garden press briefing
after 9/11 Commission Appearance.
This
movie is eye opening not only becuase
of what Michael Moore and his team digs
up but for what George Bush and his staff
say and how and when they say it.
Some will try to act like this movie is
just about slandering the President but
he does a good job doing that himself
just by his demeanor and his lack of command
with words. The presidency is about more
than the war and this movie sheds some
light on the President's term in office.
I'll
give the movie 4.5 Globes. You need to
peep this flick and show it to other people.
