If
you're a wrestling fan especially the
WWF/E fan, this DVD could be your cup
of tea. In New York City on the
eve of Wrestlemania XX, the world greatest
pro wrestlers gathered in Madison Square
Garden to honor some of the sport's best
wrestlers.
I'm
talking names like Greg ãThe Hammerä Valentine,
Bobby ãThe Brainä Heenan, Big John Studd,
Tito Santana, Sgt. Slaughter, Harley Race,
Don ãThe Rockä Muraco, ãSuperstarä Billy
Graham, Jesse ãThe Bodyä Ventura, and
celebrity inductee Pete Rose. In
the WWE film the superstar themselves,
family and friends get roasted and talk
about the growth of the sport and the
good ole days.
The
DVD also features three hours of bonus
features including seven legendary matches,
Pete Rose's three Wrestlemania appearances,
classic interviews, promos and vignettes.
The matches include Studd versus
Andre The Giant, ãThe Hammerä versus Tito
Santana and Don Muraco versus Pedro Morales.
The
total run time is 6 hours and it's two
discs. While not the regular wrestling
tape it's good for the historians and
you learn that this is a business that
requires traveling and separation from
families, which is very hard to do.
You learn that these people have families
besides careers and to do both is extraordinary.
I'll
give the DVD 4 globes.
